Detailed Custom Craft Order Process

This end-to-end workflow ensures clear coordination and quality control for custom craft projects (e.g., metal medals, commemorative coins):

Step 01  Negotiation

Initiate a discussion with the supplier to outline your core requirements: craft type (e.g., zinc alloy keychain), material specifications (e.g., Size, 2mm thickness, polished finish), quantity (e.g., 800 units), design preferences (e.g., embossed logo, engraved text), and delivery timeline (e.g., 25 days from confirmation). This phase typically takes 1–2 business days to align on basic expectations. 

Step 02  Design

We have professional design team to create 2–3 initial design drafts based on your ideas (e.g., integrating your brand colors and artwork) and shares them within 3 business days. You can request 2 rounds of free revisions (e.g., adjusting text size, refining pattern details) until the design is finalized and approved in writing. However, If you have PDF or AI or other 2D/3D formats, it's better for us to help you finalize the design.

Step 03  Quotation

After design confirmation, we will provide a detailed, itemized quote (e.g., $1.8 per unit for 800 keychains, covering design, material, and basic packaging costs) within 24 hours. The quote also includes breakdowns for optional add-ons (e.g., $0.3 per unit for custom gift boxes).

Step 04  Payment 

Settle the agreed payment terms: usually a 30% deposit (e.g., $432 for 800 units) to kick off production, with the remaining 70% (e.g., $1,008) paid before the final shipment is dispatched. Payment methods (e.g., bank transfer, PayPal) are confirmed during negotiation.

Step 05  Production

Full-scale production starts after deposit confirmation, taking 12–15 business days. We will conduct 2 quality inspections during this phase: a mid-production check (at 50% completion) to verify design accuracy, and a final check (at 100% completion) to ensure a 99.7% defect-free rate. You may request photos/videos of the production progress upon request.

Step 06  Packing 

Finished crafts are packed per your requirements: e.g., individual OPP bags for each keychain, 20 units per sturdy carton (30×20×15cm) to prevent damage. Custom branding (e.g., printed carton logos) is added if pre-agreed. This step is completed within 1 business day after production wraps up.

Step 07  Shipping

The supplier arranges the selected shipping method (e.g., express courier for 3–5 day delivery, sea freight for bulk orders) and provides a tracking number within 24 hours of dispatch. You’ll receive updates on the shipment status until the order arrives at your designated address. We always ship by DHL, but UPS, Fedex, etc, also can accept.
